As the introvert’s extrovert and a lifelong kinkster, Rae is so happy you’re here! The mission: throwing safer parties you feel welcome and comfortable at! They believe in learning & sharing consent tools for empowerment within intimate spaces so we can all bring our whole selves to the party.

Kink and ethical nonmonogamy have been integral practices for Rae throughout their life. They know firsthand how deep the connections you make in these intimate spaces can become. These communities can act as accelerators to a “normal” friendship, given the level of inherent vulnerability when gathering in these alternative spaces. Rae and the Arrow team carefully facilitate space with this in mind.

Rae is excited about opportunities to continue their education (and deconstruction) within the realms of intimacy, kink, human sexuality, organization & leadership.

Chris is a fiber artist and horror fanatic who spends their free time making eyeball-themed art and playing with rope, needles, and other ouchie fun.

Ashley is a switchy serial hobbyist who takes great pleasure in exploring the intersection of antique porn, costumes, and kink hands-on. She can be summoned by lighting a candle in a “holy” space for roundtables and erotica body doubling.

Milk AKA Lissy is a proud cofounder of Pittsburgh’s local private bondage space, The Lighthouse Studio. Milk has been learning, teaching, and facilitating rope bondage practices for over ten years. They have a professional background in multi-dimensional mixed media art and educational facilitation. As a local artist and body worker, their private practice is based in mediums such as movement, photography, and play. They prioritize making space for all bodies to ground and find beauty or peace in the present.

Their passion earned them a feature in the Love and Sex edition of the PGH City Paper, (article “Fit to be tied”). They have also had the privilege of presenting on sex positive play topics nationwide, including at our very own Carnegie Science Center. Milk comes to Arrow’s community to pay it forward, providing experience reaching all the way back to 2009.

Lauren AKA Ash is the second half of the founding team of Pittsburgh’s local private bondage space, The Lighthouse Studio. Ash is actively searching for a location to evolve The Lighthouse into a larger community space for queer & BIPOC folx, with emphasis on creating “third space” for these members to enjoy.

Diving into a recent interest in neuroscience, Ash has enrolled in a Neurosomatic Intelligence course this fall with the goal of certification. This work will expound upon his knowledge of the physical body via a BS degree in Exercise Science earned at the University of Pittsburgh. Ash desires to bridge the gap of brain and body from a trauma-informed lens, making positive impacts to the collective and individual dysregulated nervous system.

A part of the kink community since 2015, they have developed a love for rope with their partner, Milk. Together, they have traveled the nation sharing their passion and knowledge on a variety of kink-related topics. From performance to education, they love showcasing their connection and co-regulation tactics with others.
